Underground fiber optic cables are responsible for allowing increased speed by facilitating faster data transmission over long distances and are used in telecommunications networks across the world. They provide reliable and cost-effective transmission of data.

Further, fiber optic cables are less prone to signal interference, capable of simultaneously sending large amounts of data between two locations without signal degradation, robust construction and durability, and reduction of intentional sabotage from human interference.

Due to geographic infrastructure restraints, coax cable is used to replace fiber optic cable. Coax serves as electrical transmission lines that effortlessly carry high ration frequency signals from one point to another with low signal loss.

Fiber / Coax Splicing and Testing

Fiber To The Home (FTTH) facilitates the direct delivery of fiber to residential, commercial, MDU (multi-unit dwellings) effectively while replacing the antiquated copper drops. This results in high bandwidth network connections with advanced broadband performance.

Considered our strong suit, our fiber splicing professionals use state-of-the-art technology to install or upgrade existing networks, including node splits, fiber hub installation, fiber splicing, coax splicing as well as upscale or reallocate as the needs arise.

Our crews are FFTH, Coax and Twisted Pair Trained and capable of installations and service calls with the required tools and testing instruments, often in complex construction projects and/or difficult working conditions.

Safety

Our employees are our greatest resource and prevention of workplace injuries is our number one priority. With protocols, supporting initiatives, and action plans, we stand proud of our safety record internally and within the field.

All field employees are mandated to periodic safety meetings which are conducted both in-house and on job sites. Topics are season-specific modules and are both discussed and/or demonstrated. All new field hires are required to participate in a New Hire Safety Orientation followed by a 60-day review with our Training Director or Lead crew member.

Fibertronics participates with multiple third-party safety organizations where courses and certifications are offered and often times mandated based on certain job-focused work types.
